Description

This year, professional auditors needing Yellow Book hours can attend a webcast focused on how to, effectively and efficiently, apply "little GAS" to their risk-based-audits of Yellow Book clients. This session is a comprehensive review of the major principles-based changes reflected in the 2011 revision of the Yellow Book - but that's only half of it. This year's update session includes special application-based emphasis on the new COSO “Internal Control - Integrated Framework 2013” report and the pending companion GAO exposure-draft-stage document to the COSO report, 'Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government: 2013 Exposure Draft'. This hear-it-today-apply-it-tomorrow discussion of auditor concerns regarding internal control matters in a Yellow Book audit stresses compliance with these, newly revised, principles-based professional standards when the auditor does not intend to formally “rely” on internal control in the conduct of the risk-based-audit.  - See more at: https://acpenii.acpen.com/item/yellow-book-update-126224#sthash.o8UbaJGv.dpuf
